This program is the perfect starting point for those eager to develop the skills and confidence to coach effectively.

Duration: 30 hours (includes live sessions, practical exercises, and demonstrations).

Format: Weekly sessions over 7 weeks, combining live online learning via Zoom with pre-work, post-work, and fieldwork.

Certification: 30 hours of ICF Approved Specific Coach Training Hours (ASCTH) - Pending Approval

Class Size: Limited to 16-24 participants for an engaging and supportive experience.

Our Foundations in Coaching Program provides a comprehensive introduction to coaching as a distinct and impactful discipline. You’ll explore the key principles of non-directive coaching, understand its unique value, and develop essential skills to empower others through meaningful conversations.

Rob Gray | MA, MCC

For nearly 30 years, Rob Gray has helped leaders and organizations bridge the gap between where they are and where they want to be. A Master Certified Coach (MCC) with the International Coaching Federation and a master’s degree in Executive and Organizational Coaching, he brings deep expertise to guiding meaningful transformation.

He has worked across industries—professional sports, tech, government—helping teams navigate complexity, strengthen leadership, and build sustainable growth.  For Rob, coaching is more than a profession—it’s a way to help leaders find clarity, purpose, and lasting impact while developing the next generation of coaches to drive meaningful change.

Ceri Rees | MA, ACC

Facilitator

With three master’s degrees and a lifelong commitment to learning, Ceri Rees partners with coaches to deepen their skills and impact. As a faculty member and coach, she fosters exploration, growth, and transformation, helping others lead with confidence and authenticity.

With a background in HR and leadership development, Ceri brings expertise in talent development, executive coaching, and organizational growth. Certified in TotalSDI and Core Strengths, she equips coaches with tools to enhance self-awareness, collaboration, and leadership effectiveness. A trusted guide, she helps coaches expand their influence and create lasting impact.

Peter Reek | MSc, PCC

Facilitator

With over three decades of experience, Peter Reek helps organizations build high-performing teams and thriving cultures. A leadership coach and human capital strategist, he has led recruitment, team development, and growth initiatives for brands like lululemon, Nintendo, and Best Buy.

Peter coaches leaders to align people strategies with business goals, combining business acumen with coaching expertise. Holding a master’s in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching, he brings a unique perspective to leadership development. As founder of Coachworks.Academy, he is passionate about unlocking team potential and fostering innovation and collaboration.
